Fairy Garden Printable Colouring Page

Fairy houses and gardens are so magical, I’ve created a free download and printable colouring page for you. Take a few minutes out of your busy day for some mindful colouring, to help you enjoy the little things in life.

I’m joining a group of creative bloggers with the March Pinterest Challenge today. The Pinterest Challenge is all about encouraging us all not just to add pins to our boards but to actually do or make something! This month’s theme is Magical March and this fairy garden and this fairy garden were my inspiration.

I decided to interpret the theme with a fairy garden printable colouring page. I shared some positive thoughts themed printable colouring pages about a year ago. I love a little colouring, it’s well documented to be a great stress reliever for some people and these colouring pages are suitable for children and adults alike.

This time I thought you might like to see my process! From some very quick pencil sketches and a list of ideas to the gradual formation of a colouring page that I am happy to share.

You can see I had more ideas than there was room for. I had to ditch the tree with a little tyre swing and the cloud, but then managed to fit in everything else, including a little fairy house, a wishing well, bunting, rainbow, butterflies and lots of flowers. Plus a sweet and hopefully uplifting quote; Enjoy the little things in life.

If you’d like to download and print the colouring page just click the box below. It’s sized for UK A4 paper but a ‘fit to page’ option on your printer should make it work anywhere (fingers crossed)

I had fun colouring the page with a mix of colouring mediums, I used felt pens, promarkers and colouring pencils. There are no rules as to how you choose to colour in right?

I’ve had a few friends and family of all ages test the fairy garden colouring page for me too:

Look at these two busy bees, and try not to get too jealous of that lovely crayon and colouring pencils set!
