Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday. Handmade Monday is our weekly link up for handmade ideas, crafts and recipes. Creative bloggers can share their tutorials and projects and we can all check out all the ideas and get inspired.
I was lucky enough to attend the Creative Craft Show at the NEC Birmingham on Thursday. I spent most of the day sitting on stands doing “make and take” mini craft workshops while I chatted to other crafters - bliss! I did manage a little bit of shopping as well of course. Creatively Beth has made the most adorable pie bunting, intended for Thanksgiving but also perfect for Pie Wednesday (Pie Wednesday was a day celebrated weekly by my daughter and her housemates when they were at University, when they shared a pie for dinner each Wednesday. You can celebrate on any day of course as it’s a totally made up celebration!)
Pillar Box Blue has a fun cork and Christmas card upcycling idea for the Christmas table.
Scratch Made Food for Hungry People has a recipe for a Raisin & Cherry Welsh Tea Cake, a bit of a twist on a Bara Brith, and I LOVE Bara Brith so I’ve put this firmly on my to try list!
