Handmade Monday #356

Hello everyone and a very Happy New Year to you!

Let’s hope that 2024 brings some much needed kindness, compassion and peace all over the world. Plus lots of time for crafts of course. We all know how good crafting can be for our mental health, for me it’s often as much about the journey as the destination too.

With all that in mind, let’s kick off the new year with our first Handmade Monday of 2024.

We’ll start by checking out the features from our last Handmade Monday of 2023, way back before the Christmas and New Year breaks, seems like a long time ago now! If you find any of the features are in a language you don’t know - I absolutely love how many people join us from all over the world here - then just right click anywhere on the page and ask google to translate it for you. It’s rarely perfect but good enough to get the general idea. How wonderful that our love of crafts and creativity can bring us together from all corners of the planet :-)

Click through on the photos to see the original posts.

  • Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Crazy Little Love Birds has some utterly gorgeous ideas for elevating your gift wrap, and after all, who doesn’t like to receive a beautifully wrapped gift?

Gretchen from Gretchen’s Little Corner has finished the top of this stunning hearts and wreaths quilt, what a beauty and SO inspiring.

Bianca from Selbst die frau has made these lovely koinobori style fish decorations with scraps of fabric. As someone with a lot of fabric scraps I could make a whole shoal of these, I’m sure!

Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.

At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
