Hi everyone and welcome back to Handmade Monday #107, this is our weekly craft link up where you can share your latest craft project or find some new ideas.
Did everyone enjoy the Christmas break? Hopefully some of you are still enjoying it! I don’t know about where you are, but here schools don’t go back until the 7th Jan this year. I don’t have any school age kids anymore but our youngest is home from uni still which is lovely, he starts back on the 7th too. Do you have exciting plans for New Year or is a quiet night in, in front of the TV with a glass or two of Baileys more your thing?
We didn’t have a Handmade Monday last week, what with it being Christmas eve and all, so let’s take a look at the features from the Handmade Monday 2 weeks ago. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these ideas.
Frau Tschi Tschi shared with us some progress on her weather blanket. It’s just an amazing piece of crochet and is looking huge already! I’ve often thought about doing a weather or temperature blanket but it is quite a commitment to do a row every day. For now I’ll just admire this one!
I know Christmas is pretty much over but we can still get ideas for next year right?!
You probably all know how much I love Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S’s idea of painting a buffalo check onto glass jars, I tried out my own version back in the spring for a Pinterest challenge which I completely love so when I saw her red and black christmassy version I was very excited. I see this happening in our house next year!
Congratulations to you both. there is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Handmade Monday has a group Pinterest board. I pin as many of the projects shared here as I can each week, but I don’t always get to you all. If you’d like to join the board and pin your own projects there you are very welcome. Just follow all my boards on Pinterest then email or Pinterest message me, letting me know the email address you use for Pinterest and I’ll send you an invite.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
