Handmade Monday #467

Welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday, our weekly link up for all things craft and creative.

I’m attempting a bit of a spring clean of my craft space at the moment and it’s not going especially well I’m afraid. I keep finding half made projects and then trying to finish them instead of tidying up. It’s a very slow process this way and I wouldn’t recommend it!

One thing I did get finished was the little air dry clay trinket dish thingy that I made at a craft night with friends just before Easter. Once painted I think my daffodil looks better, I just wish i’d made the dish a little deeper. A good excuse to make another I guess!

We’ve not had a Handmade Monday since 29th March because of the Easter break so let’s check out the features from then now.

  • Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Val from The Road Gypsies Val and Holland has a free pattern for this lovely rosebud crochet coaster. Such a simple way to create something really lovely. Thanks for the pattern Val.

Steph Creates Things has turned a simple glass picture frame into something really special using wall art stickers. As I watched her video tutorial I was thinking you could probably get a similar effect by tracing a design and filling it with glass paints.

Food Nutters shared this delicious sounding wild garlic babka bread. I’d need to read up a little more about foraging to go collecting wild garlic myself but the look of this bread makes me want to try.

Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.

At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
