Hi everyone and welcome to Handmade Monday #109, this is our weekly craft link up where you can share your craft project and ideas or imply browse for a little inspiration.
I’ve been watching the Marie Kondo programme on Netflix and have started a little bit of tidying up/sorting out. I’m quite good in most areas, it’s craft supplies that are my real achilles heel. I enjoy a lot of different crafts and so my stash is quite substantial. It all sparks a whole heap of joy for me so it’s all staying, I just need to find a way to keep it organised, so I can see what I have. I also need to use stuff instead of keeping it because it’s ‘too nice’ to use! With this in mind I’ve been doing a little yarn busting crochet. It’s coming along nicely but —ouch, look at all those ends to sew in….
Now it’s time to see the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these ideas.
Laura from Over the Apple Tree has a free pattern for this lovely rainbow scarf. Laura says she wanted to create something grown up as rainbow things can be more often aimed a kids which made me immediately think of the wonderful Sue Heck in The Middle!
You must all know by now how much I love a good recycling or upycling project. Naush from Doodle Buddies showed us how to turn an old cardboard box into a canvas and then showed us her super cute little house paintings.
Congratulations to you both. there is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Handmade Monday has a group Pinterest board. I pin as many of the projects shared here as I can each week, but I don’t always get to you all. If you’d like to join the board and pin your own projects there you are very welcome. Just follow all my boards on Pinterest then email or Pinterest message me, letting me know the email address you use for Pinterest and I’ll send you an invite.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
