Handmade Monday #132

Handmade Monday craft link up

It’s time for Handmade Monday, our weekly craft link up.

Handmade Monday is a link up for creative bloggers to share up to 3 of their projects, old or new (just try not to link up things you’ve shared here before please) It’s also a fun place to find some new ideas or inspiration.

I’ve had a fairly productive week, orders for my Etsy shop and a few new ideas brewing for here on the blog. I always find the balance between blog and Etsy a little bit difficult, when I working on one I always feel I’m neglecting the other! No matter how busy I am though, come the evening I tend to plonk myself in front of the TV with some craft I can do whilst I’m watching. There seem to have been so much good stuff on just recently. I thought summer was traditionally a quiet time for tv but I’m been trying to keep up with The Handmaid’s Tale, The Virtues (both pretty emotionally gruelling) , The Planets (educational), Riviera series 2 (I just like watching the beautiful people) and I still have some of the last series of Victoria and Summer of Rockets sitting on the planner waiting for me. Plus now I see Beecham House has started (looks like my cup of tea) and I’ve not even started the latest series of Black Mirror or Killing Eve. Phew! What a good thing we can be much more flexible about when we watch things nowadays. At least it’s all meant that I’ve been able to get on well with my We are Knitters cardigan. The sleeves are plain so they are great for cracking on with when watching TV.

Ok then, let’s look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these ideas.

Chez Vies has made a lovely little pouch with fabric scraps and has a quick video so show the process.

The concrete campervan planter from the Craft Lumberjacks is just too cute not to feature. It looks like it took a bit of experimenting and work to suss out the best way to create it but obviously totally worth it!

Claire, who we know from her lovely projects at Pillar Box Blue, also shares fabulous printables on her other blog Picture Box Blue and this week she showed us how to turn a very ordinary looking tray into a really special little side table.

Congratulations to you all. there is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)

Do join our Pinterest Group board if you haven’t already done so. Then you can pin the projects that you link up here, I don’t even min dif you add the odd older project that you’ve not share here. as long as it’s a handmade project idea, tip or recipe it’s all good. I pin what I can that is shared here but when life gets busy that gets harder so if you all pin your own it’s win win :-) Instructions on how to join are on the board.

Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community,  we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

 Let's support one another  ^_^

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
