We have archived some of the older Handmade Monday pages now, if you’ve arrived at this page having been redirected then you might like to check out some of the more recent Handmade Monday link ups, they are a great place to find a selection of craft ideas and tutorials, as well as recipes:

Handmade Monday is a friendly link up that's been going since 2012.

It started it's life with Wendy at 1st Unique gifts and then Handmade Harbour, moved to Lucy Blossom Crafts with the lovely Vicky and then finally moved here to Sum of their Stories in November 2016.

It has always had a really friendly community feel, Vicky often called it the friendliest blog hop on the web! I've been joining, linking up my latest project and visiting the others to see what they have been busy doing since I first stumbled upon it in November 2013.

Handmade Monday is all about sharing your handmade projects and ideas, any sort of makes and bakes, crafts of all sorts. If you blog about something creative that you think fits in with the handmade ethos, you’re very welcome to join in.

Why should I join in?

Joining in with Handmade Monday every week should help you get more visits, followers, comments and generally increase traffic to your blog. If you are more of a 'link and run' kind of person you may not enjoy it as much because Handmade Monday has always been more about becoming part of a very caring and helpful community. Fellow bloggers and crafters genuinely celebrating your successes and encouraging and supporting you when things are tough.

What are the rules?

  • Did you make it? Is it craft related? Yes - hooray, we'd love to see what you've been up to. This is not the place for shops, link parties or posts with just other people's work. Giveaways are fine as long as they are craft related.

  • Add the link to your blog post, not your main site URL.

  • Link up to 3 posts each week, but try to make sure it's something you've not linked up here before.

  • Have fun! Mingle - visit some of the other links - that's the whole point! Leave them a comment, maybe share on pinterest, twitter or your other favourite social media. Let's support one another and grow our craft community.

  • If you'd like to follow me in some way (buttons to find me are on the side at the top) then that would be just lovely. If you'd like to tell others about Handmade Monday then that would be just lovely too.

Any posts that are not craft related or which are just selling things will be deleted.

By linking up you are giving permission for me to share your link on social media and possibly feature it in a round up on Sum of their Stories in the future. Any post shared will always be with a proper link back.

Handmade Monday opens at 5pm Sunday evening and runs until 12 noon on Saturday (UK times), that way you should have chance to join us wherever you are in the world.

Here's a button for you to use on your link party page or side bar. You are welcome to uncentre it and change it's size etc, if you are technically minded enough to work that out!

All features are pinned on the Handmade Monday Pinterest Board. If you'd like to join the Board just sent me a message with your pinterest email and I'll get an invite sorted, then you can pin your own ideas to the board too.

We also have a Facebook group where we share ideas. Anyone who joins handmade Monday regularly (or occasionally) is welcome to join, just click the “Join” Button on fb and next time I'm on FB I'll add you.
