Handmade Monday #268

Welcome to another Handmade Monday, this is our weekly craft and creative link up where craft bloggers can share their handmade projects and tutorials in the link up below and craft enthusiasts can find lots of new ideas and inspiration.

I’ve started a new big crochet project this week, I obviously have a dozen smaller things on the go too but I try to only have one “big” project at a time! I decided on hexagons and made a little pile of the darker yellow ones and then changed my plan and decided to do them as a join as you go so now I’m having to undo half of the last round of my premade pile when I come to join them - Doh! . As you can see I’ve got a bit of a quick colour plan but I’m not sure if that will be big enough yet. I’ll make that size and then assess, I can always add more hexagons if I need to , or maybe a border, I’ve not decided yet. This will be a baby blanket, my cousin’s son’s wife is expecting so I wanted to make them something and you can never have too many blankets. One for the car, one for the pram/pushchair, one for downstairs, one for upstairs……

Now here are the features from last week’s Handmade Monday, just click through on the photos to see the original posts -

  • Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Denise from My Home of all Seasons has created a beautiful Spring decoration with a bead wreath - so so pretty.

I love any ideas that use up scraps of craft materials and saves wasting them, so this card idea from I Teach Stamping is right up my street!

Saved from Salvage shared how to make simple wooden eggs shapes and has lots of ideas for how to use them in your Easter decorating.

Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog. I think you should - you deserve it!!!

Please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

Supporting one another with a like or share isn’t too much to ask right? And every little helps :-)

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
