Handmade Monday #432
/Welcome to our weekly creative link up; Handmade Monday.
In July I’ve been enjoying a little 10-15 minutes a day “learn to watercolour” challenge on You Tube from Emma Lefebrve. I’ve got a bit behind and need to do some catching up today but have really been enjoying learning a few new techniques. I do think I need to invest in some nicer watercolour paper and some better brushes - some of my brushes are ones I used for my school art work back in 1985! I’ll have to put them on my Christmas list.
Emma’s videos are very easy to follow and it’s nice to set aside a little time to paint (be even nicer if I actually managed to keep up with a little everyday but that’s life, right?)
Enough about what I’ve been up to, now it’s time to take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday.

Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.
Because of my learning watercolour techniques challenge I was really interested to read all about Sandi from Old New Green Redo and her experiments with alternatives to expensive watercolour resist.
I confess I’m not a massive fan of Christmas in July. For me the end of October is plenty early enough to start thinking about it. However, that said, I do love this gorgeous Christmas ornament with fabulous bow shared by Gail from Purple Hues and Me.
Cindy from Cindy’s On-line recipe box has a recipe for Cranberry orange Biscotti with flamingo decoration for summer. I think they are really cute.
Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.
A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social
HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS
