Hello everyone and a big welcome to another Handmade Monday
Handmade Monday is our weekly craft link up. A great place to share your makes and bakes and to get some new inspiration.
How has your week been? Christmas is suddenly here! Every year I'm all "its ages yet!" then BOOM! It's 2 weeks away! Every ... single ... year ...
I've mostly been reformatting blog posts here that are a bit off following my blog move. I do a couple, then do something else then come back and do a few more. It's a long haul job I think. Not helping is that last year I treated myself to a subscription to Mollie Makes magazine and I do love the way it feels like a present to myself each month. The latest copy dropped through the letter box this week and had a pattern for crochet baubles. I was over the moon, I've been admiring these on Instagram for months and wondering if I could work out a pattern. I've become a little bit obsessed, and even though I have loads of other things I should be doing I can't stop making them!
Enough about me! Now it's time to look at a couple of features from last weeks Handmade Monday.
Anna from Tea and a Sewing Machine has made this beautiful Christmas wreath from burlap ribbon, it's just lovely.
Suzer Space has made a pretty vintage Christmas lights garland from paper, so pretty.
Congratulations, both of you.
As always, Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, better together and all that, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two. Let's support one another :-)
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - the hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found
A big thanks to all of you who joined our group Pinterest board and now pin your projects yourself. It's such a help :-)
