Hi everyone and welcome to another Handmade Monday craft link up. This is the place to share your makes, bakes and all things craft related.
What kind of a week have you had?
I've finished a long term crochet project but as it's a gift for someone who might see the blog I can't share it in all it's glory yet, Here's a sneak peek!
Let's look at some things we CAN see in all their glory - features from last week.
Have you been watching any of the winter olympics? I'm finding the skeleton the most frightening thing to watch - can you imagine doing that for the first time? The curling always seems to catch everyones attention too, lots of funny videos circulating of people with brooms and mops on their kitchen floors! Anyway, I loved this sweet little ice skating rink made in an Altoid tin by The Crafty Lumberjacks. They also have a beautiful looking Korean based cocktail which might make the curling more exciting in the early rounds too!
Did you know that Altoid mint originated in the UK but you can't really buy them easily anywhere here? Apparently we export nearly all of them! *other mints in tins are available!!
Dazzle while Frazzled made a lovely photo display from an old suitcase. Isn't it pretty? Just imagine how nice that would be at a rustic wedding, with photos of the bride and groom when they were growing up?
Congratulations to you both. there is a "YAY I was featured" button for your blog just here
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, better together and all that, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two. Let's support one another :-)
We have a Handmade Monday group Pinterest board, if you're newish here you might not be a member of the group. I try to pin everything linked here to the board but I can't promise to always get to them all. You can pin your craft projects directly to the board , oldies as well as your new stuff. Just follow the board and then message me with the email you use for Pinterest.
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - the hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
