Handmade Monday #84

Hi everyone, it's time for Handmade Monday 84. Handmade Monday is a chance for creative bloggers to share what they've been up to. It's a great place to find some new inspiration and maybe a handy tip or two. Grab a cuppa and stop for a while, share what you've been up to (old stuff is fine too) and visit some of your crafting friends.

I've been playing with my wood burning pyrography tool again this week, I made a very belated house warming gift for some friends, a simple hexagon design on a couple of inexpensive wooden chopping boards from Ikea.

Now let's have the features from last week's Handmade Monday.

Oh my goodness, have you ever seen anything as cute these flamingo cup cake toppers? They are from Antonella at White House Crafts.

When I first learnt to crochet it was so I could make flowers, the next thing I learnt to make was hats. This cute crochet hat pattern from Kat at Krazy Kabbage combines the two!

Claire from Pillar Box Blue is a big fan of the lovely designs from Marimekko and has used a simple decoupage technique to revamp some tired wooden bowls. Aren't they lovely?

Congratulations to you all. there is a "YAY I was featured" button for your blog over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)

Did you know we have a facebook group for Handmade Mondayers? We share the odd interesting thing we find, useful tips, that sort of thing. It's not a mad busy group to be honest but we are pretty friendly! Feel free to join us if you are a blogger who links up here at Handmade Monday regularly (or even occasionally!)

Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, (it's always better together) so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

 Let's support one another  ^_^

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
