Welcome to Handmade Monday 89, join us and share your craft projects, tutorials and recipes or just have a look through for some new ideas.
I've been trying out a chalk spray paint this week, until recently I had no idea such a thing existed. What a great product! I'll try to have my project finished and ready to share with you by the end of the week.
Talking of getting things finished, I'm on the last push to finish the baby blanket I've been working on since May. The baby is due in a couple of week which means he could put in an appearance any day now. I enjoy having a long term project to pick up when I fancy but I really do need to get a wriggle on now! I'm just planning to continue the border until I run out of yarn.
Let's have the features from last week's Handmade Monday.
I love love love these paper birds from Suzer Space, simple to make and oh so sweet.
Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S took some old wooden clothes hangers from her local thrift shop and turned them into lovely art work hangers with a little paint and stencilling. Aren't they lovely?
I just had to feature this beautiful quilt by Pam from Threading my Way too. It's a collaborative project by Pam and her daughters, what a wonderful thing to have made together.
Congratulations to you all. there is a "YAY I was featured" button for your blog over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Did you know we have group pinterest board for Handmade Monday? I try to pin all the ideas shared here but don't always have time to get to you all. You can join us if you are a blogger who links up here at Handmade Monday regularly (or even occasionally!) and then pin your projects directly to the board yourself.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
