Hello and a very warm welcome to our craft link up, Handmade Monday.
For months now I’ve been busy helping my cousin and his fiance with some of the preparations for their wedding. It’s been so lovely to be involved, starting with making save the dates way back last December so they could be posted in with Christmas cards (practical and economical!). Then wedding dress shopping (SO much fun), the invitations, table decorations and other pretties. I shared the wedding dress hanger I made a few months ago when I was experimenting with my birthday present pyrography tool.
Well, the wedding was yesterday. We had a fab day; ate a lot, talked a lot, photographed a lot, laughed a lot, danced a lot! #sorrynotsorry I’m going to spam you just a little bit with some of the prettiness!
Now let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these.
The Crafty Gardener shared with us a pattern, step by step photos and a whole load of hints and advice to make these lovely braided coat hangers.
Marjan from Atelier Marie-Lucienne shared a pattern to crochet these super sweet little rainbow snails. I’m not normally a fan of snails as they eat all my favourite plants but these are just lovely.
Congratulations to you both. there is a "YAY I was featured" button for your blog over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Handmade Monday has a group Pinterest board. I pin as many of the projects shared here as I can each week, but I don’t always get to you all. If you’d like to join the board and pin your own projects there you are very welcome. Just follow all my boards on Pinterest then email or Pinterest message me, letting me know the email address you use for Pinterest and I’ll send you an invite.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
