Hi folks, wishing you a very warm welcome to Handmade Monday #115. Handmade Monday is a link up where you can share your craft projects and ideas or just poke around and see what other craft minding people have been up to. We like to see your new projects but feel free to share an oldie too, especially if it’s something you’ve not shared here before.
I managed a little craft time this week although it never seems to be as much as I’d like - funny that! After making my hexie needle book last week I’ve been playing a little more with scrap patchwork techniques, using up all those tiny bits and odd shapes of fabric that I just can’t bring myself to throw away. I had some success but my seam ripper did see quite a bit of action too. It’s usually best to just walk away when it gets like that isn’t it? A tea break can make all the difference!
Before we head off to the features can I just ask that anyone who loves Pinterest (surely that’s all of us right?!) pops by to the Handmade Monday Pinterest board and pin a few of other people’s ideas FROM the board occasionally. The more activity on a board the more Pinterest rates it and the pins on it, so we all benefit from this being a nice active board. Thanks :-) For details on how to join this group board and pin onto it too just scroll down a bit.
Let’s take a little look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday now. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these ideas.
Raj’s Craft Hobby shared the sweetest little crochet bunny mug cosy, and it’s a free pattern too - yay! Pom pom all the things!
Sticking with the pom pom theme (and I do love a good pom pom!) Victoria from Dazzle while Frazzled has a super quick and easy way to add pom poms all round a shop bought blanket. It’s brilliant and honestly makes me want to pom pom every blanket in our house asap!
Simona from Ideen und Inspiration has a lovely glass jar upcyled decoration idea, I love how she has styled them out in the spring sunshine too.
Congratulations to you all. there is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Handmade Monday has a group Pinterest board. I pin as many of the projects shared here as I can each week, but I don’t always get to you all. If you’d like to join the board and pin your own projects there you are very welcome. Just follow all my boards on Pinterest then email or Pinterest message me, letting me know the email address you use for Pinterest and I’ll send you an invite.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
