I’m so happy that you’re here to join us for Handmade Monday #128. If you are here as a creative blogger then please do share up to 3 of your projects, old or new (just try not to link up things you’ve shared here before recently) If you are a crafting fan then stick around for a while, browse through the ideas and see if you can find some new ideas or inspiration.
It was my birthday this week, I’m one off a big number but I’m not saying any more!
I had several craft related gifts, some more Clover crochet hooks (I’m gradually collected a full set), a craft lap tray with built in light and space for a cup of tea (genius!), 2 pretty notebooks for all my to do lists, some lovely pens, chocolate (I’m classing that as a craft item of course) as well as a few non craft related gifts too!
This beautiful tea cozy was made for me by one of my talented craft friends for my birthday a few years ago. When our youngest children were toddlers and at a mums and tots group together I would give them a lift home and her little one would always ask if we wanted ‘a nice cup of tea and a dit dit ?(biscuit)’
Here are the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these ideas.
Ann from The Apple Street Cottage made some lovely little hanging solar lights for her garden for the summer, it’s an upcycle project too which I love!
And what about these gorgeous fingerless gloves, shared by Tomiko over at Kiku Corner? Here in the UK the temperatures are starting to rise so this is not an especially seasonal choice of project but it’s Autumn in some places and there is no harm in planning (and pinning!) ahead is there? Tomiko shares the link to the free pattern too :-)
Congratulations to you both. there is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Do join our Pinterest Group board if you haven’t already done so. Then you can pin the projects that you link up here, I don’t even min dif you add the odd older project that you’ve not share here. as long as it’s a handmade project idea, tip or recipe it’s all good. I pin what I can that is shared here but when life gets busy that gets harder so if you all pin your own it’s win win :-) Instructions on how to join are on the board.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
