Welcome to Handmade Monday, our weekly craft link up. A place for creative bloggers to share their ideas and projects and for us all to find some new inspiration or our next ‘must do’ project.
Last week I was asked to share my advice for organising a sewing room with Redfin, the Real Estate Agents. My tip was storage, storage, storage - I don’t think you can ever have enough! Redfin have collected top tips and suggestions from a whole host of sewing enthusiasts, lots of great advice and ideas that you can find here.
Here are the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. If you want to pin any of these ideas please do click through via the photo to the original project.
This lovely filet crochet bag is from Sandra at Hakelfiber. Filet crochet was my nan’s favourite and although I’ve not done much myself I do love it, especially a modern and bright take on it like this.
Claire at Pillar Box Blue has done it again with a lovely denim upcycling craft. These denim roses are lovely, I especially like the way Claire has used them to make napkin rings, pretty and useful!
Congratulations to you both. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog
We’ve had a big change over at our Handmade Monday Facebook Group this week.
Originally the group was just for the bloggers who share here at Handmade Monday to share blogging tips but as it wasn’t really working out like that we’ve made a change. Now the group is open for all crafters. Bloggers can share their latest project or tutorial, crafters can share what they’ve been up to, everyone can share fun craft things they’ve found that they think other craft lovers might like to see. It would be nice to turn it into a fun place where we can all get inspired and support each other’s love of all things craft.
Pop over here and request to join us - let’s make it a fun and vibrant group.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
