Handmade Monday #142

Handmade Monday craft link up

Welcome to Handmade Monday, our weekly craft link up. A place for creative bloggers to share their ideas and projects and for us all to find some new inspiration or our next ‘must do’ project.

I don’t know about you, but my week has just flown by. The Great British Bake Off is back on the telly here. It feels like it’s the most popular programme of all time, everyone I know watches it. Once it’s been on for a few weeks I get organised and we have something homebaked to eat as we watch it. For the first couple of weeks we settle for a packet of biscuits or something from Mr Kipling! It feels wrong to watch it without a snack of some sort.

I’ve also enjoyed a little bit of hand stitching with some leftover scraps of denim. These little pieces are now keyrings listed n my Etsy shop.

Right, now here are the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. If you want to pin any of these ideas please do click through via the photo to the original project.

Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S used some little wooden trivets (or maybe they were cheese boards) from her local thrift store and saw the pumpkin potential in them, I’m not sure that I would have done! I must open my mind wider to pumpkin shaped things for Autumn craft purposes! What a cute project.

Kat from Krazy Kabbage has a free pattern for these lovely stained glass fingerless gloves. Wouldn’t they make a great gift? Kat has a matching hat pattern to if you want to make a set.

Congratulations to you both. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

Don’t forget to join our new and improved Handmade Monday Facebook Group

If you are one of our craft bloggers, linking up your projects here, don’t forget you can now share your projects in the facebook group too.

Please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

 Let's support one another  :-)

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
