Handmade Monday #244

Hi everyone, and welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday, our weekly link up for anything and everything creative and handmade.

I’ve had quite a busy craft filled week this week. Got lots of little jobs finished, added lots more little jobs to my to do list - you know how it is!

I was given a big box of haberdashery bits a few weeks ago, a friend was clearing out her late mum’s stash. There’s a lot of trims and miscellaneous bits and pieces, some will need more thinking about than others to find a way to use them.

There was a bag full of cream coloured tassles which I part dismantled and turned into keyrings or bag charms with the addition of some beads. I’ve listed these in my Etsy shop. I’m not sure if it’s worth doing a tutorial on how to make them as the style of tassel I started with seems pretty specific!

I mentioned this last week, but it doesn’t hurt to say it here again.

  • A call out to any creative bloggers joining us *

Would anyone be interested in joining the Pinterest Challenge that is hosted by Alexandra from Eye Love Knots? The challenge runs once a month and has a theme, but within that theme you can pick anything you’ve pinned previously and give it a try, put your own spin on it etc. If you are interested, join the Pinterest challenge facebook group to find all the details, dates etc.

Okie Dokie, now for the features from last week -

The Yellow Birdhouse have a free pattern to make the most adorable felt Beluga whale.

Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog. I think you should - you deserve it!!!

Please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

Time’s are tough so every little thing we can do to support each other helps right? :-)

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
