Handmade Monday #269

Welcome to another Handmade Monday, this is our weekly craft and creative link up where craft bloggers can share their handmade projects and tutorials in the link up below and craft enthusiasts can find lots of new ideas and inspiration.

Last Monday I was lucky enough to go the the CHSI Stitches Craft Trade show at the National Exhibition Centre. I’ll be writing up a full blog post with lots of details of what I saw on the day this week. I met lots of great people and just had a really nice time mixing with craft loving folks. I met Stuart Hillard who is a bit of a craft celebrity here in the UK. He was on the first ever series of The Great British Sewing Bee and since then he has written several sewing books, he writes a column in a sewing magazine and has just designed a range of sock yarn. He was super nice considering I started chatting like we were BFF’s. Like I say, more on the show later in the week!

Now here are the features from last week’s Handmade Monday, just click through on the photos to see the original posts -

  • Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Artsy Karma showed us how to make the most beautiful batik style prayer flags, I’m so in love with them.

Me and My Inklings showed us how to make the prettiest twine flowers. Laura has used them on a wreath but they could be perfect for decorating all sorts of things.

Have you seen anything cuter than these pom pom birds from Crafts a la Mode? No, no you have not!! :-D

Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog. I think you should - you deserve it!!!

Please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

Supporting one another with a like or share isn’t too much to ask right? And every little helps :-)

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
