Handmade Monday is our place to share your makes and bakes and to be inspired.

Next Monday is Christmas Day and the Monday after is New Years Day so Handmade Monday will be taking a 2 week break. We'll be back to and ready for you to share your ideas and projects on the evening of the 7th January (5pm UK time) . I'll be checking out your posts and sharing this week but I'll be picking features that are not Christmas based (as I'll be featuring them in January that makes sense) so do share a few non festive ideas, maybe something from your archives as well as your Christmas and New year projects this week.

I can't share any photos of any of my makes this week, it's been all finishing off last minute Christmas presents so I can't share for risk of spoiling the surprise!

So without further ado, here are the features from last weeks Handmade Monday:

Howling at the Moon shared some information about Sinterklaas, celebrated in the Netherlands on 6th December. I love learning about different celebrations from all round the world. This Sinterlaas cake looks delicious!

Mary from The Boondocks Blog is the queen of resourcefulness as has a load of ideas to decorate your Christmas tree on a budget.

And just one more feature - 'cos it's Christmas, we are going to miss a few weeks - I love these map ornaments from Pillar Box Blue.

Congratulations to you all, there is a "Yay, I was featured" Button here, that you can display proudly on your blog if you wish :-)

Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, better together and all that, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two. Let's support one another :-)

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - the hooray, we'd love to see it
  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
