Hello everyone and welcome to Handmade Monday 78. This is our weekly link up where we all get chance to share what we've been up to. Stop for a while and share your makes, bakes or other craft related news.

I'm not altogether sure what happened to the last 7 days, it seems to have gone in a flash!

I did get some sewing done this week. I have a wonderful new 'toy' to play with - a walking foot for my sewing machine - I LURVE it! I got it a few weeks ago with the amazon card giveaway I was lucky enough to win on the 100th Sweet Inspirations Link Up hosted each week by my lovely blog friend (and HMM regular) Mary from The Boondocks Blog along with Art Decoration Crafting, Vintage Southern Picks and A Crafty Mix. Thank you ladies, I'm so thrilled a) to have won something and b) with my super de dooper walking foot. My husband and I were out on Friday for a lovely meal and theatre night out and I spent half the meal explaining what a walking foot is and why it's so brilliant! Bless him!

Now let's see the features from last week's Handmade Monday.

I love this Narwhal rug by Sew Can Do. It's cute, soft, and practical (and by practical I mean washable of course!)

Mary from The Boondocks Blog shared a great Father's Day gift idea - a photo display made from, of all things, the grill trays of an old barbecue!

Congratulations to you both. there is a "YAY I was featured" button for your blog over here if you want to show off just a little (Do it! You deserve it!)

I do try my best to visit you all and also to pin your projects to our Handmade Monday Pinterest board. The trouble is that the more popular the link up gets the harder it is for me to get to you all. Please do consider joining our Pinterest Board if you've not already done so and then you can pin your projects directly. To join just follow the board and follow the instructions on the board description.

Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, (it's always better together) so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

 Let's support one another  ^_^

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
