Hello and a warm welcome to Handmade Monday #120. Handmade Monday is a craft link that we run weekly here at Sum of their Stories. It gives creative bloggers a chance to share up to 3 projects (we love to see new ideas but old projects are welcome too) which gives us all a chance to have a look about and find some new ideas for our ‘to do’ lists.
We are on the new style Inlinkz now, I hope you are all ok with it. I’ve got everything crossed that it goes smoothly! You do need to log in to Inlinkz to join in now but once you’ve done that joining all link ups is easy peasy, quicker than before, and you can view stats on what you’ve linked and everything - more stats for bloggers to pour over - what fun!
I’ve been joining in with World Craft Week over on Instagram this week with some daily prompts. I’m not great at this kind of challenge, I rarely manage to join in every day even though I have the best intentions. There is a free magazine full of lovely craft projects that I think is still available to download if you sign up at the World Craft Week website. (If not then at least you’ll be all ready for next year!)
Let’s take a peek at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Please click on the photos to go through to the original posts if you want to pin any of these ideas.
My French Twist really wowed me with this lovely macrame yoga mat bag idea.
These little Easter Bunnies made from cardboard rolls from Decor Craft Design are a great, fun recycling craft project.
And finally, you all must know by no that I just can’t resist a good granny square project. AnneMarie’s given a 3 sentence instruction for this pretty little case! I love a simple project!
Congratulations to you all. there is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog :-)
Do join our Pinterest Group board if you haven’t already done so. Then you can pin the projects that you link up here, I don’t even min dif you add the odd older project that you’ve not share here. as long as it’s a handmade project idea, tip or recipe it’s all good. I pin what I can that is shared here but when life gets busy that gets harder so if you all pin your own it’s win win :-) Instructions on how to join are on the board.
Handmade Monday is all about building a crafting community, we most definitely are better together, so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.
Let's support one another ^_^
The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:
Did you make it? Yes - then hooray, we'd love to see it
Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url
You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not stuff you've shared here before
Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share
If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
