Handmade Monday #263

Welcome to another Handmade Monday. Craft bloggers can share their handmade projects and tutorials in the link up below and craft enthusiasts can find lots of new ideas and inspiration.

I finished my Kawandi quilted table runner last night, Whoop Whoop! I’m so pleased with it. It is a method of hand stitched quilting that I was first introduced here via the Handmade Monday link up. Elvira from Chez Vies shared her progress on a Kawandi table runner one week towards the end of last year and after checking it out I knew I’d love to have a go. Elvira has done several projects now and has a few video’s explaining the technique which are worth checking out.

I’ve shared more photos of it on Instagram if you want to see it from more angles!

Now here are the features from last week’s Handmade Monday, just click through on the photos to see the original posts -

  • Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

These Kawaii Fortune Cookie Valentines from Creatively Beth are just too cute!

Joy’s Jots, Shots and Whatnots shared with us a detailed tutorial showing how she created this stunning portrait of Max the dog. It’s amazing, and way to complicated for me to attempt but I still love seeing how it was done. I’d highly recommend checking it out, It’s a proper “wow wow wow wow wow” project (I may have watched too many Pitch Meetings!)

These gift bags with hearts made from the back pockets of old jeans are so sweet. Super easy to make to, Pillar Box Blue has all the details.

These beautiful macrame heart coasters are by My French Twist. Wendy has a great tutorial that make them look really do-able even if you’ve not done much macrame before.

Congratulations to you all. There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog. I think you should - you deserve it!!!

Please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. Share some of your favourites on your social media maybe and leave a nice comment or two.

Supporting one another with a like or share isn’t too much to ask right? And every little helps :-)

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here
