Handmade Monday #301

Welcome to Handmade Monday no 301. Handmade Monday is a link up for handmade crafts and recipes. Creative bloggers can share their tutorials and ideas and we can all be inspired.

I know in the US you are all gearing up for Thanksgiving now. We don’t celebrate that here in the UK. I guess the closest is Harvest Festival but that’s not a big thing and usually just involves schools and churches collecting food donations for local food banks. We celebrated Bonfire night last night, the 5th November. That’s all about bonfires and fireworks and Guy Fawkes not blowing up the houses of parliament in the 1600s, and we’ve had a lot of Diwali celebrations recently. Now we are just in the wind up towards Christmas, it feels like the TV Christmas advert floodgates have been opened. I cannot confirm but I may have spent an afternoon with my crochet watching a sappy Christmas film on one of those 24 hours Christmas film channels already!

Now let’s take a look at the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. Click through on the photos to see the original posts.

  • Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Kristie from Love my Little Cottage has painted some beautiful wood slices.

Ulrike has created this amazing lino cut, so much more detailed than any lino cut I’ve ever done. It’s definitely making me what to try this craft again! Plus the subject matter, books and tea is right up my street!

This little bobbly crochet pumpkin is adorable. It’s a free pattern from Maya from The Little Treasures.

Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time.

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.

At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
