Handmade Monday #308

Happy New Year and a big welcome to Handmade Monday 308. Handmade Monday is a link up for handmade crafts and recipes. Creative bloggers can share their tutorials and ideas and we can all be inspired.

How long is it going to take you to get used to writing 2023 instead of 2022? It’s usually mid February before I get the hang of it!

I hope you all had a lovely and relaxing Christmas holiday time and you’ve not been too badly affected by the adverse weather around the world that we’ve been watching on our TV news.

We had a very quiet New Year’s Eve here, just a few games, a few drinks, plenty of food and then we enjoyed watching the fireworks on TV at midnight.

I’ve really enjoyed a break and am looking forward to getting back into my craft space now and getting creative in 2023.

As promised we have features now from the Handmade Monday before Christmas. Click through on the photos to see the original posts.

  • Please remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

T’onna from Sew Crafty Crochet made this adorable Charlie Cat for her son, isn’t he the sweetest thing?

Joy’s Jots, Shots and Whatnots made this gorgeous cardinal cushion cover for a special friend. We don’t have cardinal’s here in the UK but we have the same saying about robins appearing when loved ones are near.

I Teach Stamping has made a really lovely and versatile card from scraps of pretty paper. I have a drawer full of scraps so I love any ideas that help to put them to good use.

Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time.

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

CAN I REMIND EVERYONE THAT HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.

At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
