Handmade Monday #372

Hi everyone and a big welcome to another Handmade Monday.

This is our weekly creative link up where craft bloggers can stop by and share new or old creative projects and tutorials and we can all be inspired.

I’ve been trying to use up some of my fabric scraps stash this week by making some patchwork project bags which I’ve started listing in my Etsy shop. This one uses a fun way of positioning striped fabrics which you can find more about here: How to use striped fabric to make a woven effect patchwork

Now let’s check out the features from last week’s Handmade Monday. If you find any of the features are in a language you don’t know - I absolutely love how many people join us from all over the world here - then just right click anywhere on the page and ask google to translate it for you. It’s rarely perfect but good enough to get the general idea. How wonderful that our love of crafts and creativity can bring us together from all corners of the planet :-)

Click through on the photos to see the original posts.

  • Remember if you want to pin any of these ideas please make sure you click through via the photo to the original project.

Continuing the patchwork scrap busting theme Chez Vies has a wonderful little video tutorial to make these cute little patchwork pouches. I’ve made my first one already, I’ve just not had chance to take any photos to share with you yet, and am planning more.

Once again Gail from Purple Hues and Me has knocked it out of the park with a creative upcycle. This basket used to be a ball of twine and a plastic container. It looks so lovely in Gail’s signature colour too!

Another beautiful plastic container upcycle is this faux succulents display from Crazy Little Love Birds.

Congratulations to you all There is a "YAY I was featured" button over here if you want to add one to your blog.

A like on social media, a comment or share is an easy way for us all to help to support one another so please do take a moment to visit some of the other projects linked up this week. It’s not mandatory to be able to join in here, there’s no easy way to check if you did but it costs nothing but a few minutes of your time and is just a nice thing to do!

The rules for Handmade Monday are very simple:

  • Did you make it? Yes - then yay! We'd love to see it

  • Add the link to a specific post, not your main blog url

  • You can link up to 3 posts each week but try to make sure it's not something that you've shared here before

  • Mingle - visit some other links - comment - share - be social

HANDMADE MONDAY IS NOT A PLACE FOR SELLING SO NO LINKS TO ETSY OR OTHER SELLING PAGES, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMOVED. THANKS

If you are not sure of anything more details can be found here.

At Handmade Monday the links are shown in a random order so it’ll look different each time you pop by.
