Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s Handmade Monday.
Handmade Monday is our creative link up where bloggers can link up their craft tutorials, projects, recipes etc to inspire us all.
I’ve been joining in the ReFebulous upcycling challenge over on Instagram this month. You share a little each week about a fabric refashion project throughout February. Mostly it’s clothing refashions, last year I made a blouse from an old table cloth for the challenge. This year I’ve taken a pretty tunic I bought in a charity shop to upcycle. Sadly it’s just a little bit too small too fit me so it was perfect for a makeover. I had an idea to make a quilted bag with some sort of frill and last week, as it was week 3, I shared a few close up details.
I very much winged it making the bag but it has turned out rather cute so I will try to write up a pattern to share here soon.
