A little tribute to Ellen 2020
/ Sum of their StoriesMarch 28th was my Grandma Ellen’s birthday so each year I share something she made as a little tribute to her.
This year I have another painting that she did. My aunt found this when they moved and gave it to me for my birthday last year. Isn’t it lovely?
Ellen loved to sew mostly, than seemed to be her favourite craft and I’ve shared some things she had sewn in previous years. After her retirement she got into painting much more, she joined a group or class and became a somewhat prolific painter! She was very much an ‘in for a penny, in for a pound’ kind of person.
So today I’m remembering my nan, Ellen. She was always super enthusiastic, always encouraging everyone to try new things and putting that into practice in her own life too.
